Electropop duo La Roux linked up the producers behind Major Lazer, Diplo and Switch, to create a free mixtape, Lazerproof. I just downloaded it myself and haven’t gotten a chance to give it a listen but I’m thinking it should be good. No more talking from me, just download.

Anyone familiar with the genre knows that Reggae artists have been covering pop records since day one. Good to see that tradition continue in 2010, this time via Major Lazer and Ele covering Beyonce’s “Halo”.
