Spotlight on: Dexter ’3D’ Pottinger.

With Caribbean Fashion Week now upon us, I thought it best to spotlight one of the biggest names in Caribbean fashion at the moment, Dexter ’3D’ Pottinger.

Pottinger’s what you can call a Jack of all trades, having made a career as not only a designer but also as a stylist, make-up artist and even video director. In fact, he’s so much of a commidity, that Caribbean cellular giant Digicel decided to link up with him, holding an event before the start this year’s fashion week. Check out the details below…

When telecommunications giant Digicel wanted to create a fashion line that embodied the lifestyle of the cutting edge company, they spoke to the creative genius that is Dexter ‘3D’ Pottinger to design a line incorporating the company’s signature colour, technology, and brisk cutting-edge style.

“We needed a line that represents us,” said Shelly Ann Curran, senior sponsorship and promotions manager at Digicel. She continued: “The line Dexter Pottinger created was unpredictable, stylish, and on the cutting-edge of fashion”….
