Dear Michael Hayden:
I am a human rights defender in the USA, and I am just hearing about your situation. If be of help to you, let me know. I am trying to help another brother in jamaica. I hate hearing these stories. I ma praying for you and all the people in the black world dealing with intolerance and hatred. My email is randyaiusa@hotmail.com. There is a real need to fight this hatred and violence. Black people are not free anywhere and we are more willing to kill and maim persons seeking to do harm to no one than to fight against systemic injustice. I am proud of you and my Ugandan friend who has recently gained asylum in the USA. I am happy to say I played a small part in raising awareness regarding the insanity in Uganda. Be strong and reach out if you allies. We shall overcome and become a black community where we love all of us.

Hi Michael Hayden I recently came across your story and will like to know how you survive this and if you’re still living in jamaica. I am from trinidad and I am also gay I was also under the witness protection program in trinidad and because of my sexuality I was thrown out of the program. The previous government failed to secure and help me genuinely in trinidad where I was shot at in 2008 I happen not to pick up any bullets I was place under the witness protection and was thrown out of the program because of my sexuality. I am still in trinidad trying to survive this so I can relate to you situation.
